Why did I name it Sprinkles Periwinkle?

I don't really know why I named it Sprinkles Periwinkle, but I get this question enough to address it on the website.

I think the name contrasts the comic. The comic is poorly drawn, edgy, and pretty weird. The name is light, positive, and happy. I like the sense of shock value I've noticed when I see someone read one of my comics. It's almost like they expect huge happy-faces all over the place, and cheery, little-kid plots. So I imagine that seeing "Fuck" every few comics or so can unnerve a first time reader.

If you know me well enough, then none of the content in this website is going to shock you, but if you're a reader who stumbled upon this, or googled it, then you may think I'm whacked.

I don't ever plan on changing the name, I just don't think anything else will ever sound as good to me as "Sprinkles Periwinkle".
